PetPax Co. won the Grand Prize for the of the Petcare Innovation Prize at the Global Pet Expo

Last week honestly feels like a blur! 

On the first day of the Global Pet Expo, we were able to add 9 new retail partners across the US, and spoke to thousands of people! From buyers to influencers, our booth was ALWAYS packed and it felt good that so many people were genuinely interested in our SupplaMelts!

We were tired, but had to pitch the next day, so made sure we slept early and practiced. Anthony did the majority of the pitch and so he practiced in the AM, while me (Nathan) and my Dad manned the booth, before our friend and mentor came to help out while Anthony and I pitched.

We pitched... we answered questions.... and then we waited for the judges to deliberate. Any and all of the finalists deserved to win, and we waited for what felt like a lifetime to find out the results. The judges emerged and let everyone know.... and in the meantime, I had started a conversation about packaging and... "Nathan! Nathan!" - Anthony was shaking me - WE WON!!! I was in complete shock and I hope that the cameraman sends us the very honest picture of my face the moment Anthony told me! 

We are so excited and proud, as a brand, to be recognized by a giant company like Purina, who are one of the largest pet companies in the world. They saw something in our SupplaMelts, and something in Anthony and I. We won some money with this prestigious award and are planning to do some R&D on our products, as well as expanding into even more retail stores! 

You can see in the picture, Anthony & me with the panel of judges, including previous PCIP winner, Anna Skaya (founder of BasePaws & Ani VC), as well as several Purina executives. It was such an honor for us to take home the win, and validation that we are on the right track to making petcare and pet wellness easier and more natural. Dogs deserve the best, and we are glad that the innovation we are bringing to the industry is being recognized! Lots to come for PetPax Co. and we are excited to take you all along the journey with us!
